Start with eye-level views
Include a straight-on view, both profiles and a natural three-quarter image. Keep the camera near the subject's eye height so the nose, forehead and body proportions are not stretched.
Preserve identifying detail
Share unfiltered files where possible. Add close views for unusual markings, asymmetrical ears, collar details or the exact hand gesture that makes a family grouping familiar.
Separate evidence from preference
Label which images establish likeness and which merely suggest a pose, finish or mood. That distinction lets the proof stay honest about what the source can support.
